Establishment of Mid-Day Meal Kitchen and Nutritional Support for School Children, The Akshay Patra Foundation
Project Summary
NPCI in partnership with The Akshay Patra Foundation is implementing project which aim to serve children from diverse backgrounds, including underprivileged families, rural communities, and marginalized groups. Many of them face daily struggles with poverty, lack of access to nutritious food, and limited educational opportunities. The Mid-day meal program aims to alleviate the current predicament in the state by giving children more wholesome, nutrient-dense meals that help in combating the nutrition burdens and strengthening their potential to better future for themselves. To start with, we have received the necessary land approvals and other related approvals from the Government to start the project in Goa. The government has agreed to provide an existing building for setting up Akshaya Patra kitchen to renovate and refurbish as per the kitchen requirements.

Smart Vision Glasses for the visually impaired, Blind Vision Foundation
Project Summary
NPCI in partnership with Blind Vision Foundation is implementing project to equip visually impaired with Smart Vision Glasses. The Smart vision glasses for the visually impaired project aims to provide these individuals with state-of-the-art Smart Vision Glasses, a technology that combines AI and machine learning to assist in everyday activities. The project focuses equipping 100 visually impaired individuals with Smart vision glasses in states of Maharashtra, Gujrat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. The project is designed to enhance the quality of life for the visually impaired by empowering them to lead independent lives.

Providing Long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) to the rural and tribal villages of the Dhanora block of Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra by SEARCH
Project Summary
NPCI in partnership with SEARCH is working towards eliminating Malaria by providing Long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) to the rural and tribal villages of the Dhanora block of Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. This project aims to eradicate Malaria among the vulnerable tribal community of Dhanora block of Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra. SEARCH is seeking support for providing Long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) to tribal community living in scattered villages in the dense forests of the district. The proposed intervention is part of larger initiative run in the district in partnership with health department of Maharashtra. The honourable PM has declared India to be malaria free by 2030. The Govt of Maharashtra has highlighted its commitment towards Malaria elimination, with specific focus on Gadchiroli, which is one among the six districts in the whole country with highest malarial burden.

Support to Martyr’s and war veterans Families, Sri Shanmukhananda Fine Arts, & Sangeetha Sabh
Project Summary
NPCI in partnership with Sri Shanmukhananda Fine Arts & Sangeetha Sabha is supporting Martyr’s and war veterans families. This initiative is directed to work for the welfare of armed forces and support and felicitate the Martyr’s families on occasions of Independence and support to war veterans during Republic day. The General Officer Commanding (Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa) headquartered at Mumbai represents the Armed forces in the process. Families of the men in uniform who sacrificed their lives in the cause of the nation and got injured during the duty hailing from this command area are honoured and supported.
This initiative sends message of solidarity. It also provides opportunity to contribute to the welfare of the forces beyond monetary considerations and form a bond of togetherness in good or bad times as society and nation.

Health care and cancer awareness: Global Cancer Concern India
Project Summary
NPCI in partnership with Global Cancer Concern India implemented mobile primary health care, cancer screening & awareness and palliative care project for people of Sitamarhi. The project reached out to many remote villages in order to provide access of basic health care and also to spread awareness on the causes of cancer.
The prime objectives of the program were:
- Providing access of quality health care facilities to the community at their doorstep.
- Cancer awareness and screening drive to empower community against deadly diseases.
- Palliative care facilities for the community in remote locations.

COVID Relief Inteventions – The Akshay Patra Foundation
Project Summary
NPCI in partnership with The Akshaya Patra Foundation provided dry ration kits to vulnerable families of daily wage earners, homeless people, migrant workers, unemployed and dependents affected by the lockdown during the Covid 19. The project provided nutritious food supplements to the beneficiaries from the most effected section of the society which came in as a much-needed relief during the crisis.

COVID Relief Inteventions – Americare India Foundation
Project Summary
NPCI in partnership with Americare India Foundation stood by COVID warriors and front-line workers in the fight against COVID 19. Project supported front line workers involved in medical care with 3 ply masks and sanitizers across 3 locations of Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the frontline heroes.
Distribution of these critical covid relief equipment also meant the frontline workers would be able to carry out their duties diligently while keeping themselves and their families safe.

Covid Relief to Hospitals, Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust
Project Summary
NPCI in partnership with Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust work towards Covid relief during second wave of Covid 19. Many cities were reporting a chronic shortage of hospital beds, especially ICU beds. The project supported Vedant Hospital of Mumbai, CARE Hospital of Hyderabad and district hospital of Washim by providing critical medical equipment.
