Shri Ravindra Pandey, Deputy Managing Director (Strategy) & Chief Digital Officer at State Bank of India, joined the Bank as a Probationary Officer in 1985.
In his current assignment as CDtO of SBI, he is the head of Digital & Transaction Banking verticals of the Bank.
He was the CGM of Jaipur Circle and was responsible for SBI’s operations in the entire state of Rajasthan. He was also heading the payment solutions and special projects of the Bank. During his tenure, the bank became the largest merchant acquirer in the country. He has more than 33 years of varied experience in managing various operations of SBI as Regional Manager, Deputy General Manager(B&O) and General Manager-NW.
His international experience includes heading SBI’s France operations. The responsibility included Business Development, Risk & compliance management, HR Functions, interaction and participation in various industry and Government forums. He holds an M.Sc degree in Chemistry from Allahabad University.
