In order to provide instant answers to employee queries as well as to give employees the ability to easily connect to the right person if they need help, NPCI has implemented an HR Chatbot in tie up with Leena AI which is a leader in the HR Chatbot segment. Its name is EMpal and it is being rolled out soon.
EMpal has powerful AI-based features which enable it to understand employee questions and give the most suitable response. It has been programmed to understand the NPCI HR policies and accordingly, it can answer questions related to them. If it is not able to solve a particular query, it lets the user raise a ticket with HR for resolution. On average, most tickets will be resolved within 24 hours. As more queries are answered, it will continue to learn and enhance it’s knowledgebase, thereby getting smarter with each passing day
In addition, EMpal is Natural Language Processing (NLP) enabled. NLP is an advanced AI concept, that enables it to gauge sentiment of users based on words used, including non-English words. EMpal has been implemented via Web based interface and Mobile App. Implementation is on for other modalities also. Going forward, it will integrate further with the HR systems to provide seamless access to different
