NPCI has employees across various levels, departments, locations, etc, working together as part of formal or informal workgroups in intra and/or cross functional projects and assignments. Many of these employees are having many interesting and inspiring experiences and stories. However, even after working with a colleague for years, do we really know about them?
In this edition, the achievement of Nishant Grover and Telaprolu Ramana from Information Security is being highlighted. Both of them have won the recently concluded Cyber Security Champions League competition in the Capture the Flag (CTF) category on behalf of NPCI. They competed against more than 300 teams from across India and made NPCI proud!
Nishant Grover
Nishant is part of Information Security and is based in Goregaon office Nishant has been working in Cyber Security for 5+ years. His interest in this space began in his college days, when he used to visit websites and try to find out vulnerabilities in them.
“My expectation was not to win, but to enjoy the learning and exploring the opportunity to get hands-on experience on handling the security incidents. However, as the finals got closer, we started preparing more on the kind of incidents we may face”.
Telaprolu Ramana
Telaprolu is part of Information Security and is based in Hyderabad DC office Telaprolu has been working in the Information Security field since 5+ years. His interest for Information Security began in college, when he started working with college computer administrator for systems configuration and network designing and also got interested in exploring different kinds of Information Security tools.
“The journey was quite challenging and wonderful as we got to know some unseen challenging situations while performing detailed log analysis during this competition. Our earlier experience in handling cyber drills and red teaming activities and the strong bonding we had as a team, has helped us a lot in achieving this goal.”
